Murders rates experience an unprecedented spike nationwide per FBI data in 2020.

After decades of homicide rates in the US trending lower, homicides spiked by a gobsmacking as well as a record-setting 30% increase from what was suffered in 2019.

While the FBI did not offer comment on why, one can only reasonably assume that COVID-19 surely fueled a great deal of homicidal rage which then played out into actual homicides.
