John Adams comes out of retirement to diss the Generals Bridge and which is coincidently most ill-advisedly to be dedicated today – 9/11 – and which is one of the tragically sacred days in American history.
In a most unexpected development, President John Adams unilaterally reached out to Quincy Quarry News to break the tradition of silence as regards public statements on matters political by former United States presidents.
His statement opened up with damning criticism of the well-past over-the-top Generals Bridge.
I am hard pressed to think of a project more useless and wasteful than this General's Bridge. They could have beautified the Ross Way (looks great) and left it at that. Let this be, please, the final feather in Koch's dictatorship.@QuincyQuarry @CityofQuincy @PatriotLedger

That and then he went on to most understandably label Quincy Mayor Thomas P. Koch a dictator.
After all, after suffering King George III, President Adams knows more than a bit about tyrants, not to mention pettifoggers as well as scoundrels who wrap the flag around themselves in pursuit of their own craven self-interest.
To these sentiments, Quincy Quarry heartily concurs as well as has over the years e-published all but innumerable bytes of exposés criticizing the chronically problematic reign of the Koch Maladministration.
Further note that while President Adams has on but occasion in recent years expressed his opinions about this and that, the most numerous of his relatively few comments have been directed at Mayor Koch as well as also critical of him.
Quite looking forward to the completion of the Adams Green. After two years of god forsaken jackhammering I shall be able to return to my eternal sleep. @mayortomkoch @QPConservancy @DiscoverQuincy @CityofQuincy

President Adams has also taken Mayor Koch to task for his slovenly care of local roadways, a matter with which surely most to essentially all locals – along with innumerable passers-through – would heartily concur.
My dear Abby and I boarded a carriage from the old home headed to Norfolk Downs and nearly lost an axel and two oxen on Newport Avenue. Who is in charge of the thoroughfares in this township? Is it that cad @mayortomkoch? @CityofQuincy @QuincyTweets @quincymapolice

Needless to say, Quincy Quarry is pleased to provide both some motivation as well as a venue for President Adams to express his opinions both at the present time as well as any time he that might care to do so in the future.
