– News about Quincy from Quincy Quarry News.
The Koch Maladministration’s expedited clean-up of Quincy Center continues unabated even if the rest of Quincy not so much, if at all.
As reported previously, yet again today City of Quincy streets and other paved surfaces adjacent to City Hall were undergoing relentless street sweeping in advance of tonight’s Generals Bridge Generals Gala, tomorrow’s dedications of the new Generals Bridge and adjacent statuary crafted by a Soviet émigré of still-living former senior general officers, and who only knows what all else.
How busy were the street cleaners?
Quincy Quarry News personnel were asked to move so that a worker with a leaf blower could blow the debris on a sidewalk into the street for clean-up by a passing Cty of Quincy street sweeper.
While not clean enough to satisfy legendary detective, germophobe and all-around neatnik Adrian Monk, at least Felix Unger would likely find the cleanliness acceptable enough other than how it appears that things will fall short of ending up fully completed in time for the various impending events this weekend.
Here’s a revolutionary thought — if the city would maintain the streets and sidewalks to a reasonable and normal degree on a regular basis, there wouldn’t be a need to have all this OCD level of panic to prepare for the private — no public invited — Koch party.
