– News about Quincy from Quincy Quarry News.
Quincy Mayor Thomas Koch doubles down on grandstanding it for the Generals Bridge dedication.
Quincy Quarry’s sure to eventually be award-winning Photo Recon Team Six put on rain ponchos and hit the ever-increasingly mean and now wet streets of Quincy today to score the best single-day photo expedition of its fabled career.
First up in what is going to be yet another hard-hitting series of exposés to the soft underbelly of the Koch Maladministration is how Mayor Koch has doubled down on the grandstand capacity for the dedication of the bridge on September 11 by bringing in even more grandstand capacity.
So what, apparently, how utterly tone-deaf is Mayor Koch’s pimping his arguably foundering Quincy Center redevelopment problem on the sacred day in American history that is September 11.
So what that putting up statues for living military & ex-military individuals is not proper practice for all manner of good reasons. Reality, this is ultimately a photo op to pimp Quincy Mayor Koch's economically foundering 9 figure downtown redevelopment plan. @NewsHopkins

That and so what about how the ongoing spiking of the COVID-19 Delta variant infections should behoove going with a smaller as well as socially distant event even if it is being held outdoors and as Mayor Koch did for his lightly attended annual State of the City address last March.
instead, however, it would appear that the Koch Machine has issued a mandatory attendance invitation to all of the koched-up hires dining at the trough that is the payroll of the City of Quincy.
In turn, will Quincy thus again become a COVID-19 Red Zone hotspot in the coming weeks?
Jesus H Christ! Hadn’t even seen the bleachers.
And now there are THREE TENTS as well as an 8FT. portable CHAIN LINK FENCE surrounding the Koch compound. Plus, there’s yet ANOTHER TENT being erected in the parking area at the corner of Hannon Parkway and Hancock St.
Gives the term “tent city” an entirely new meaning.
Has there even been a public announcement of what the schedule of events is going to be?
Or what streets will be closed?
What sort of “traffic control” will be in place?
And who’s been invited to this orgy of self-serving hogwash?
To top it all off, there was a street sweeper out and sweeping in the rain this morning.
The Koch Machine has gone completely and utterly stark raving mad.
Fred,
For traffic control, see https://twitter.com/quincymapolice/status/1436026696591986694
Personally, I suspect mostly only Kochster coatholders and City of Quincy employees attending tomorrow.
Any bets on whether the city will be painting all the trees and telephone poles?
I’d give even odds.
Whatever Louie is offering, I’ll double it.
Another Koch waste wash.
Tent city alert!
The 8ft. chain link fence surrounding the Koch compound has now been covered with privacy fabric.
Apparently, there will be something going on inside the perimeter that the regime wants to hide from the general public.
This Gala is amazing. I figure I will bump into some of you in the press section.
Ah, even at the ‘amazing Gala’ the Koch-sucker takes the time to post a typically inane comment at QQ. Hooked and flopping around like a fish.
I doubt you were even there — unless, of course, you were pushing a broom or cleaning the portable johns.
Chris,
How could you afford a ticket, much less buy a date? Big night playing the nickel slots at Twin River?
So, whose table did you get to sit under?
Having a city ride, I’m sure that he volunteered to work under multiple tables. The only question is Handiwipes or Kleenex?
I think he made the rounds.
While keeping the change, burp.
Chris,
Funny, but your name is not on the Quarry’s copies of the attendees and table assignments lists for Friday night’s gala. Were you a last minute substitute for your brother Mark?
That and you were nowhere to be seen in the flesh. Were you under a table after an extended bellying up at the open bar before dinner?
Hey Chris — you’re a sad sack and everybody knows it. Even you know it.
