Do you know who I am?

The relative quiet for a change on the mean streets of Quincy took a bad turn Saturday evening in Quincy Center when yet another traffic accident happened at the long and often dangerous to a point of fatal intersection of Washington Street and Elm Street.

In this instance, however, a Quincy Quarry Photojournalist who took the pictures featured in this Quincy Quarry coverage reports some curious doings and of a sort reminding one of that happened a number of years ago when an off-duty local police officer coming from a long barbeque event crashed into the covered porch of a residential building abuting this very same intersection and was then given a ride from the scene in a cruiser.

MA License 526 ER3 T-boned the female driver

Granted, while it would clearly appear that the female driver and only person the small older subcompact T-boned was pushing her luck while making a left turn against traffic onto Elm Street, the younger male driver of the full-sized and truck-based SUV who T-boned the subcompact was apparently rolling along at a relatively high rate of speed after clearing the traffic lights at the intersection of Washington Street and McGrath Highway.

Additionally, as the dust settled, an estimated 8 passengers in the SUV, most of who all looked to be teenage girls, fled the scene of the accident.

Further, two male passengers who bailed out of the SUV ducked behind a nearby office building and were later shooed away by first-responders when they emerged from behind the building.

Further yet as well as most inexplicably, at no time did it appear that any of the passengers in the SUV were asked for eyewitness statements.

Then again, the passengers in the SUV had all scattered before first responders responded to the scene.

Make Quincy Streets Safe Again …

Most curious of all, however, the young male SUV driver was clearly friendly with various of the first-responders as well as was overheard speaking in such fashion as to clearly suggest he was known to at least some of the resonding first-responders.

And then subsequently, the young male driver was picked up a Jeep SUV festooned with a American flag decal in the rear window.

Conversely, the female driver in the T-boned subcompact was treated via the standard detached manner provided by first-responders responding to a motor vehicle accident scene and then transported by ambulance for further treatment and perhaps obersevation.

On a bright note, she was able to exit her car on her but was clearly woozy even if there was not obvious signs of serioius external bleeding.

And in a final note, as well as also inexplicbly, serious impact and damage so resultant, no air baga in either vehicle were activated by the impact of colliision.
