Gunshot victim found in a Marina Bay luxury apartment building garage pronounced dead on the scene.
The shooting occurred on Friday and Boston police investigators suspect that the victim was shot in Dorchester and his body was then dumped in Quincy.
The suspected reason for the delay in announcing that the victim was dead was probably because the deceased was only seventeen years old and thus as a minor different announcement protocols apparently applied.
On positive note, Boston police arrested the suspected shooter shortly before noon on Saturday.
The shooter is eighteen years old and will be arraigned in Dorchester Municipal Court as soon as possible on charges of murder, unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition.
