Quincy police officers arrest seize eighteen kilos of cocaine, other drugs, and cash as well as arrest eight.
On Monday, coordinated police raidings of five locations rolled up a projected million dollars in the way of both cash and the street value of the seized drugs.
While arrest records do no show any of the arrested to be Quincy residents, it would appear that the drug ring was apparently at least partially servicing a need for coke pick me up demand among some stir crazy local residents.
At the same time, while Quincy Police did note that it had seized $384,000 in cash during its raids, a projected street value of the seized drugs was not noted and thus Quincy Quarry broached a reasonable projection of the value of the illegal drugs at an estimated $600,000, if not even more, and so making for a projected million dollar in total value of the bust.
Also not noted was what Quincy Police Chief Paul “The Beav” Keenan might be planning to do with the department’s eventual receipt of a share of the cash seized per applicable suspected drug case asset seizure statutes.
Needless to say, the mind boggles.
