Bah, humbug and pour me another one …
A Columbia Pictures image

It was probably only a matter of time …

Boston-based SimpliSafe, the maker of award-winning home security systems, has rolled out the SimpliSafe Social Distancing Sweater, a tongue-in-cheek take on the holiday sweater designed with this year’s challenges in mind.

Think ugly Christmas sweater featuring lights and sound warnings when not practicing social distancing.

The tech-enabled sweater features integrated motion sensors that sound a siren and flash warning lights whenever someone gets within six feet, so offering a snarky way for people to spread holiday cheer while at the same time letting others know that they have come too close.

In other words, the perfect gift for Dad from those who have yet to find a gift for someone who almost as hard to shop for as is the case for fathers shopping for their respective mother-in-law.
