Unusual Food Item of the Week – has the whole Bacon thing finally gone too far?

In an effort to help holiday season meal makers better cope with what is coming their way no matter how they may wish otherwise as well as to help provide Quincy Quarry readers find a distraction as what with the sturm und drang over the recent elections moving towards the absurd, the Quarry is hereby launching a new weekly feature featuring the unusual food item find of the week.

Julie Child, Quincy Quarry’s wicked sharp food critic as well as all around cutup, will be presenting weekly an unusual food item that she has found while grocery shopping or otherwise out and about.

While Ms. Child has been around more than just a kitchen, even she regularly stumbles upon food items that leave her scratching her head or at least wondering who approved the product packaging artwork.

This week’s target: how the bacon in everything food fad may have finally jumped the shark.
