So what for the potential of freeze damage?

Kim Jong Koch Plaza fountains looking to freeze during run of cold weather?

While many locals have brought in their yard hoses and turned off the water supply to their yard water lines and facets for the winter so as to head off freeze damage during the current cold snap of cold to hard freeze weather, as of noon today the maintenance crew for Mayor Thomas P. Koch’s homage to the Dancing Waters at the Bellatgio Hotel in Las Vegas in front of Quincy’s City Hall and two other nearby water fountains inexplicably remain full of water and thus vulnerable to freeze damage in advance of tonight’s first truly hard and long last freeze of the cold time of the year in New England.

Quincy Quarry News considered reaching out to the City of Quincy for comment at to why it was putting Mayor Koch’s three seven-figure water-themed boondoggles at risk of damage; however, and as the Quarry’s ever-growing legions of loyal readers know, there is no point wasting valuable time left on hold, shunted to voice mail and never be accorded with the courtesy of a return call, or otherwise yet again end up ignored whenever the Quarry or anyone else might opt to duly press the Koch Maladministration for malperformance.
