Vote early and often for me!

The results are in and Rabbit Hash, Kentucky has a new mayor, a French Bulldog named Wilbur Beast.

Finally, an election winner who felt bipartisan love in this still interminable election year.

Incoming Mayor Beast ran with a campaign slogan of “Give me liberty or give me Milkbones,”

The mayor-elect’s owner Amy Noland and campaign manager attributes his win to his fierce outreach strategy.

Wllbur Beast won the mayoral election with 13,143 votes out of 22,985 votes reported and the highest winning total ever against a field of fifteen opponents in what can only properly be seen as a massive showing of puppy love for this six months old pup.

At the same time, Quincy Quarry can only properly suspect some serious voting irregularities as Rabbit Hatch has only 426 residents.

Then again, this elected office is also a fundraiser to help the Rabbit Hash Historical Society maintain the three and half acre historical town of Rabbit Hatch.

Accordingly, in a rare reversal of things, voters must pay at least a dollar to be allowed vote rather than be paid for their vote.

On the other hand, the all too common practice of overlooking of voters’ actual place of residence was overlooked and as is all too typical, especially locally.
