Quincy climbs to a new record high in the COVID-19 Yellow Zone.

While still not yet in the COVID-19 Red Zone and in the wake of last week’s first time ever – however small – step backwards in local infections per last week’s Massachusetts Department of Public Health weekly COVID-19 update, Quincy experienced a considerable pop in the local COVID-19 incidence rate per this week’s Department of Public Health update.

That and so concurrently setting a new high in the local incidence rate since the Commonwealth unveiled its weekly dashboard and interactive map reports last summer.

Similarly troubling, statewide the number of COVID-19 Red Zone communities in Massachusetts jumped from 77 to 121, an over 57% increase from last week.

And as for obtaining comment from the Koch Maladministration, Quincy Quarry knows better than to bother reaching out to the Koch Machine.

Even so, the Quarry still planned to provide Mayor Koch with balanced and fair coverage by giving him the benefit of considerable doubt by at least posting Mayor Koch’s latest carefully scripted YouTube COVID update, only to discover that his most recent COVID-19 update YouTube was posted on the City of Quincy website two weeks ago.
