The hidden signs that can reveal a fake photo.

As we are in the final weeks of this year’s presidential election, Quincy Quarry News can only properly help to exposé how to spot a faked image.

For example, while all manner of image and video editing software are becoming ever more effective at affecting alterations, end users are not necessarily as sophisticated at using these software tools as they think.

That and digital forensic experts have all sorts of tricks in their investigation tool kits.

Most importantly of all for the general public, Quincy Quarry suggests the following fallback quick check checklist: if an image or video looks too good to be true AND has been presented by little known, anonymous or highly partisan source, figure that the odds are good that things were faked. 

That and always beware of the Rorschach and Rashomon effects as regards observer bias.
