Plastic surgery procedures on the rise during the COVID-19 pandemic.
While the latest coverage on the uptick in nip and tucks ledes with comments from Beverly Hills, there is previous coverage which would suggest that the recent increase in cosmetic surgery is pervasive.
That and how the recent increase in cosmetic surgery is in no small way fueled by people working remotely wanting to improve their video images.
It even has a name: “Zoom Anxiety.”
One would think that a better understanding of lighting and make-up applied with a camera in mind would be the easier way to go; however, neither necessarily provide as ready a way for one to get out and about.
Also curious: one would think that going to the effort to take greater care with one’s wardrobe while teleconferencing, mitigating embarrassing extraneous video conferencing sounds, making sure to wear pants, and remembering to close a video conference on Zoom before going on to get busy – but apparently not.
