Markey Kennedy Senate primary debate scorecard.

“Headed into the final pair of debates, one candidate in the Massachusetts Democratic primary for US Senate has momentum.  The other has the last name Kennedy.”

After early polling considerable advantage for Congressman Joseph P. Kennedy III’s bid to primary Senator Edward Markey, the race has tightened, and Trey has gone negative – a common indicator of a campaign that knows it is in trouble.

That and Papa Joe Kennedy has allegedly taken a page out of his grandfpa Joe Senior’s playbook to purportedly pour serious money on the down low into an anonymous PAC to help fund attack ads dissing Senator Markey in ways that even Quincy Quarry finds a bit much but which the greater outrages during the Age of Trump are providing cover.

In any event, if the Quarry came away with anything from last night’s debate, it was reinforcement of its ongoing opining that Trey could well be Conan O’Brien’s love child. 

After all, not only is the resemblance considerable, Trey speaks with the same adenoidal voice as Conan.
