Massachusetts US Senator Ed Markey noses ahead of Representative Joseph P. Kennedy III in the latest Senate Democratic primary poll.

In a development that one could view as presaging Hell freezing over, Senator Markey has edged ahead of previously favored primarying challenger Representative Kennedy in this year’s blood sport primary race in Massachusetts.

While Malarkey has by far the more progressive record after decades of living in Maryland, Trey has tried to pivot his thinner and less clearly progressive record as well as rely on the Kennedy name.

However, with the September primary fast approaching, it would appear at this point that yet again old age and treachery may yet again overcome youth and (self-perceived, ed.) skill.
