Quincy Quarry Weekly Fish Wrap: Summer time and the spinning is easy.

While Quincy Quarry continues to not let up on both the doings as well as the far more frequent misdoings of the Koch Maladministration, the South Shore broadsheet has overtaken the local print weekly as the de facto in-house print media choir for the Koch Machine.

While former South Shore Broadsheet staffer and now La Kocha Nostra mouthpiece Pinocchio Walkbacker is not listed on the broadsheet’s official employee or contributors rosters, just about most anything published in the broadsheet about Quincy these days is happy news yak all but assuredly spun out of City Hall to protect its denizens’ phony baloney jobs.

As there will most unfortunately not be a local mayoral election year until 2023, one can thus only assume that the Koch Maladministration is endeavoring to pimp all of things that it is freely spending tax money on in ways that remind one of sailor on leave after six months at sea so as to smooth the water for next year’s expected local property tax bill increases.

Likely to be wicked ugly property tax increases.

After all, with “official” koched-up city spending going up by over $10 million for the current just begun new fiscal year in what was said to be “a level funded budget” and at a time when various revenue sources are expected to dip by upwards of as much as $10 million, one can only expect things to hit the fan.

Simply put, upwards of as much as $20 million more tax revenue than last year will needed to be picked from the pockets of long suffering local taxpayers to cover the Fiscal Year 2022 budget nut.

But not to worry, Mayor Koch is on record as saying that it is his goal to not increase property taxes come the first of the year.

That and pigs fly – in the cargo hold, that is.
