Coronavirus Hair Crisis ending soon!
The reopening of barbershops and hair care salons starting next week are among the businesses to be allowed to reopen in Phase 1 of Governor Charlie Baker’s comprehensive and data-driven plan to carefully reopen Massachusetts while the Coronavirus continues to reap victims.
Even so, it will take a lot of days to unwind a backlog of bad hair days.

Particularly hard hit by the hair care moratorium have been regularly televised and thus highly coiffed newsreaders whereas the Quincy Quarry News crew have not suffered all that much as most of them have faces for radio and thus considerately only provide news via text.
The reopening of barbershops and hair care salons will entail personal protective care and social distancing requirements.
Additionally, appointment scheduling will be mandatory as well as limited at best onsite waiting for service allowed. Fortunately spring weather will surely help facilitate waiting outside, not to mention expose those waiting to some fresh air.

Unknown, however, is when will Quincy Mayor Thomas P. Koch finally submit to a rescheduling of his annual buzz cut at a fundraising event hosted by his putative Quincy Center redevelopment joint venture partner and owner of Granite Communications.
Mayor Koch missed the buzzing of his always carefully coiffed hair helmet in early March.
Mayor Koch was away on a junket to Ireland when the event was held but he is on record as saying that he would be wiffled at a latter late.
With barbershops reopening next week, Quincy Quarry will be monitoring the clock as regards his actually honoring his word for a change.
After all, given that he has ducked getting buzzed for the cure previously, dogging him at this time is only well-deserved.
