Quincy Quarry Weekly Fish Wrap: COVID-19 fatigue kicks in at the South Shore Broadsheet?

While Quincy Quarry News continues to regularly monitor and then report on updates of Quincy’s COVID-19 deaths as appropriate, the South Shore broadsheet has inexplicably stopped doing so as it had been doing for weeks on a near daily basis.

Even so, the Grim Reaper keeps reaping.

One can only assume that perhaps promulgating obituaries is taking up a great deal of the broadsheet’s resources.

After all, Norfolk County and the City of Quincy have to date experienced COVID-19 fatalities at over 70% and 75% greater rates, respectively, than the statewide average per the only proper per 1000.000 population basis.

That and how COVID fatalities statewide spiked on Wednesday to a near record level after a few days of looking to perhaps finally starting to abate.

Then again, Mayor Koch is on record saying that there no new fatalities in Quincy to report on Wednesday even if probability would indicate that six fatalities were far more likely to have occurred during the germane previous twenty-four hours.

That and how no deaths occurring during the previous twenty four hours was more unlikely than picking the winning numbers for Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot.

Way more unlikely.

And as for other news shortcomings, Quincy Quarry was quick to cover news of how an ABC News correspondent was exposéd wearing shorts during a working at home news feature.

Following his exposure, the correspondent claimed that they were shorts rather underwear.

In turn, Quincy Quarry then understandably opted to not touch things.

Additionally, Quincy Quarry was apparently the only news media to point out the hair care crisis that is currently impacting video news readers given the closure of hair salons given the COVID-19 pandemic.

Simply put, absence makes dark hair roots grow longer.

Further, as near as Quincy Quarry can tell, President Trump is likely one of the very few people regularly featured on the news recently who is still enjoying the full spa treatment.

Not that it helps all that much, however.
