Time to start planning for a return to wearing work apparel?

While other media are covering how various states and communities are starting to ponder how to return towards a more normal new normal once the COVID-19 pandemic might actually show some tentative signs of moderating towards tolerable levels, Quincy Quarry and the South Shore broadsheet are instead focusing on a possible return to wearing work apparel.

Both those working at home as well as those currently not working have been at best wearing tops that might pass muster for videoconferencing.

At the same time, a fair number of these same people have conversely opted to go with the most comfortable of bottoms – if any, that is – below the range of view of their video conferencing devices’ lens.

Although telecommuting has had essentially no impact on the fashion senseless Quincy Quarry News crew, a manner of cobbler’s son has no shoes sort of effect has ironically made the Quarry team aware of the changing apparel choices of others in recent weeks.

In turn, the resultant question among Quarry staffers is will people go back to wearing their old wardrobes as they return to the workplace outside of their residences or are we looking at a fashion paradigm shift from business casual to business comfy?

Needless to say, Quincy Quarry’s ever-growing legions of loyal as well as for the most part housebound readers can count on the Quarry to monitor apparel trends as millions gradually return to the workplaces after being holed up at home.

And in the meanwhile, Quincy Quarry will step on a limb with a prediction that much of the recent growth in male facial hair is not going to be going away anytime soon.
