Each year on the fourth Thursday in April, National Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day encourages parents to take their children to work to explore the workforce.

Today is National Take Our Children to Work Day.

Ponder the irony for many a parent who is already working remotely at home and while schools are closed given the COVID-19 pandemic.

On the bright side of things, at least these parents do not have to face the grind of the commute to work today with progeny in tow for this annual schlep. 

That and are still employed.

On the other hand, if only kids would stop leaving Lego® pieces laying around as many moms and dads are not wearing shoes while working at home.
