MBTA gets brutal Twitter backlash over its asking riders to show the T some love on Valentine’s Day.

Someone at the MBTA apparently thought it was a good idea to run a promotional contest that offered round trip airline tickets on an actually reliably on time public transportation service as the grand prize.

Needless to say, the online blowback was brutal.
