Quincy Quarry Weekly Fish Wrap: A Thousand Pardons.
Last week Quincy Quarry Q’ed up and failed to load fresh fish in time before automated software sent out the previous week’s Fish Wrap to Quarry newsletter subscribers.
In turn, we all know what happens to fish after a week.
While making no excuses, unlike the Koch Maladministration’s standard operating prime directive, last week’s unprecedented events in both Washington DC and the Iowa Democratic caucuses did conspire to take Quincy Quarry newsroom’s eyes off of the prize.
That and the distraction of an extended and ultimately effective crisis management conference call on a bleeding edge anti corruption project with which Quarry personnel have long shared their investigative and other skills.
In any event, events in Washington DC continue to resemble a juvenile temper tantrum and as only to be expected.
Additionally, the outcome of this week’s New Hampshire Democratic presidential primary election would suggest the possibility of an open Democratic convention in Milwaukee this coming July.
Or at least heightening fear and loathing on the Democratic campaign trail.
In turn, count on Quincy Quarry to continue to monitor events as well as offer comment whenever appropriate and as only it has the stones to do.
In the meanwhile, locally Quincy Quarry has finally solved the mystery of how snow jobs around City Hall are able to clear away snowfall both from curb to curb and down to the pavement by the break of dawn after a snow event – the all but invariably free spending Koch Maladministration has obtained a likely to be rarely used and apparently relatively recently purchased roughly $20,000 retail mini tractor with a snow sweeper option.
After all, God forbid that Mayor Koch and the all too typically hack hire denizens of City Hall should have to suffer less than perfectly ploughed sidewalks.
That and taxpayers’ money be damned.
After all, isn’t that what it’s for …
