A new toilet has been designed to encourage employees to spend less time in the bathroom while at work and keep lines moving at public restrooms.

From Britain, home of the perfecter of indoor plumbing Thomas Crapper, a start-up company has rolled out a new commode deign which features a seat that is sloped by 13 degrees so as to encourage employees to spend less time in the bathroom while at work and keep lines moving at public restrooms.

Its developers say the slope mimics squat thrusts, putting strain on the user’s legs and making one want to get up after about five minutes.

“It is estimated that in the United Kingdom alone, extended employee breaks costs industry and commerce an estimated £4 billion ($5.23 billion) per annum,” a press release for the toilet states, and adds it “… offers the ability to increase business efficiency and profits through reductions in social media usage.”

The new design should also help mitigate public bathroom congestion by moving people along and reduce overflow into the use of handicap facilities.

Additionally, the slanted toilet seat design should prove beneficial to users’ health as medical studies have suggested that extended time using traditional toilets can cause swollen hemorrhoids and weaken pelvic muscles.

Further, the angled bowl offers a better target for standing users.
