Quincy sub shop sunk after forty-seven years in business.
The Billings Street sub shop opened in 1972 and its current ownership announced Friday that it was closing effective immediately.
The ownership of the forty-seven year-old North Quincy pasta, pizza, salad, and sub sandwich purveyor says it could not find enough reliable employees to keep its doors open.
The new owners took over the shop in early 2018 and had hoped to bring it back from the brink of closure. “We had so many ideas to expand.”
