A pedestrian struck and low flying newscopters then swarm the sky over Quincy Point.
This morning’s sunrise was broken with the sound of helicopter rotor blades beating the air.
In turn, such made it impossible for Quincy Point residents to hit the snooze button and then roll over for another ten minutes of snoozing before facing another day.
While details are still breaking, early reports indicate that a pedestrian was struck on Southern Artery shortly before 6 AM somewhere between Brackett Street and McGrath Highway in the Quincy Point neighborhood.
Accordingly, morning commute traffic has been rerouted so that the accident scene can be cleared and then investigated.
Rerouted for how long, however, remains to be seen.
