Quincy Quarry Weekly Fish Wrap: a new high water mark of hacks getting whacked?

Even per the well-known sorts of sordid corruption and worse committed by state and local governmental officials in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts over the years, the past week or so has set a new low water mark.

Whacked hacks range from the twice arrested by the feds mayor of Fall River whom the Fall River City Council voted eight to one Tuesday night to suspend from office to a Worcester Superior Court judge who dropped the “do you know who I am” card on Hudson police while they were arresting her for allegedly assaulting her wife in a variously witnessed domestic dispute.

How bad was it this past week?

So bad that the sorts of events that usually all but write themselves were consistently so far out there as well as numerous that Quincy Quarry News had to resort to reprising Howie Carr’s recap of who all got capped this past week so that Quincy Quarry’s ever growing legions of loyal readers can keep track of things.

After all, having a program all but invariably makes it easier – if not way easier – to keep track of all of the players.

For example, how the former resigned in disgrace State Senate President Stan Rosenberg’s estranged boy toy of a husband plead out on charges of sexual assault and distributing the picture(s) of a naked member of the Massachusetts State Legislature.

Unfortunately, no one knows who the member was as the picture of him and his “member” were apparently sealed.

At least not officially, that is.

In short, one would think that there has to be at least a cable series script deal in here somewhere; however, so far the suits in Hollywood has found the various script treatments submitted to them as wholly improbable even for a dark as well as satirical political sitcom.

Even more amazing, however, is how Quincy was not involved in any of this week’s hack attacks.

But not to worry as one should consider Quincy’ inexplicable absence on the scandal front this past week as akin to weather in New England: if you don’t like it at the moment, just wait ten minutes.
