Elizabeth Warren’s lagging home state support may reflect the thinking of voters who are looking ahead to the general election.

Continuing to lag behind Biden by this much

While Massachusetts Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren has enjoyed some improved polling numbers for her presidential bid per just released l Suffolk University/Boston Globe poll of Massachusetts Democratic voters, the improvements per this poll are on the verge of within but the statistical margin of error vis-a-vis other slightly less recent polls.

Arguably more important, Senator Warren continues to not poll strongly in her adopted state.

While Senator Warren is mostly popular among the polled Massachusetts Democrats as regards her role as their senator, former Vice President Joe Biden out polled Warren by over two to one in this poll as regards their current preference for the 2020 Democratic President nominee.

Similarly, while Senator Warren did move up to second place per this poll, Warren was still bunched together within the statistical margin of error with her fellow second tier contenders South Bend Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg. two percentage points behind her in third place, and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders trailing in fourth by two percentage points lower yet.
