Quincy Quarry Weekly Fish Wrap: “You’re making a bigger deal out of this than necessary”…
Just when one might think it was impossible to imagine how it might be possible to manage to cope with both an ever-worsening lack of parking as well as traffic congestion in Quincy, an apparently frustrated driver comes up with something new on the local scene: driving on a sidewalk.
Apparently, the driver had been blocked in a parking spot by a double parking truck and trailer making a delivery.
Out of frustration, the driver opted to drive onto the sidewalk, only to be further hemmed in by a fire hydrant and other such impediments along the sidewalk.
That and then by passing Quincy Police Department bicycle patrol officer.
Even better as well as for one’s amusement, security camera video of the sidewalk cruiser can viewed courtesy of Quincy Quarry’s news brethren who work the broadcast news distribution channel.
Fortunately in this instance no one was injured.
Moving along, Quincy Quarry is in the process of digesting last night’s presentation by the Koch Administration to continue with its plans to give away City of Quincy property to favored developers at bargain prices, buy land at über premium prices from special interests, and otherwise continue to hand out other sorts of favors as fast as a madam at a Thai brothel.
Quarry coverage of the latest griftings is currently in the works even if it is currently still untangling the spaghetti code underlying the latest proposal.
Not only is the intertwining of things tangled, Quincy Quarry personnel are still trying to figure out if the Koch Maladministration is desperately seeking development in Quincy Center regardless of the ever-increasingly large unhedged risks it has imposed on local taxpayers, the Maladministration has yet again being taken for the fools that they are or if Quincy Mayor Tom Koch’s edifice complex continues to run amok.
In any event, at this point, the consensus in the Quincy Quarry newsroom as well as in other coroners is an amalgam of all three and thus only figuring out the ranking of the three needs to be determined.
