Boston police officer on leave after service weapon allegedly stolen by strippers.

In one of the more laughable statements offered to the press in spite of considerable competition, a Boston police officer who had his city-issued gun allegedly stolen by two strippers is not being identified because he is “a victim.”

The unnamed officer’s service weapon — owned by the Boston Police Department — was taken while he was with the women when they stopped at a hotel bar and later a strip club before ending the night at a hotel in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

The strippers were arraigned in court.

One was ordered to held without bail on a prostitution charge for an alleged assignation at the notorious Foxy Lady in Providence and the other on a felony charge of assault with intent to commit felonies.

The wild night began when the officer connected with one of the women via Instagram, a popular social media site.

Pawtucket police report that the “victim” cop alerted them to the missing gun at 3 AM after a night of bar hopping and strip clubbing.

No (official, ed.) comment was offered as to whether or not the unidentified Boston police officer was seeking to see his other gun serviced, however.

Fortunately, Pawtucket police said that the officer’s service gun was anonymously dropped off at a fire station in Providence and was so taken off of the street without any further criminal incidents.
