Keytar Bear inspires a beer!
It’s a double IPA — and of course its brewed with honey!
Trillium Brewing Company announced a new beer named in honor of beloved Boston busker Keytar Bear.
The double IPA features honey, lactose and vanilla and four-packs of it will available for sale for $22.50 at Trillium’s two breweries.
The brewing company had planned to roll out the new brew later this year after hiring him to perform at its Roslindale Beer Garden, but moved up the beer’s release after the busker was injured in a motorcycle accident.
.
It will be a keytar-less summer on local streets as Keytar will be recovering from a broken ankle and foot as well as injuries to his knees, shoulder, fingers and right hand.
Part of the proceeds made from the beer’s sale will go towards helping Keytar recovery from his injuries per the brewery’s Facebook page.
