Newport Avenue near Wollaston Red Line Station in Quincy closed due to flooding.

Given today’s torrential rains, a section of Newport Avenue has been inundated just as things are ramping up for the evening commute. 

At this point, it is unknown if the flooding might have been fueled by the ongoing construction work at the currently closed Wollaston Red Line Station.
