Massachusetts State Police Officers allegedly paid for shifts not worked.
This is the latest scandal to hit the state police after some of its top brass resigned late last year following a scandal involving a Worcester District Court judge’s daughter.
In ways fraught with arguable parallels to last summer’s felony convictions of now former Quincy Police Lieutenant Thomas Corliss for police detail double and sometimes even triple dipping, an internal audit uncovered discrepancies and so sparked an investigation of state troopers who patrol the Massachusetts Turnpike who were apparently paid for shifts that records would indicate they did not actually work.
So far, however, State Attorney General Maura Healy has offered little comment in general nor any whatsoever as regards the possibility that criminal referrals might be made to the Massachusetts US Attorney’s office and which successfully nailed Quincy double and sometimes even triple dipper with multiple felony convictions.

The cops that do this are punters compared to the corruption of elected or appointed officials in this state. They all feed at the trough but it’s the politicians that lick the plate and then come back for seconds while their constituents are starving beside them.
Only seconds?
