Snowfall blankets San Antonio.
As Quincy hunkers down for its first plowable snow event of this winter season, San Antonio Texas was blanked by several inches of snow Thursday night.
Not only is snow a rare occurrence in this southern Texas city that is also south of the Florida panhandle, it was one of earliest snowfalls on record in San Antonio.
So much, apparently, for global warming.
The snowfall even swept over the Alamo.
Fortunately, Santa Claus came out to rally snow-struck locals.
Fortunately, the unexpected snowfall did not cause a snow check for last night’s San Antonio Spurs and Boston Celtics basketball game.
Unfortunately, however, the Celts lost by a score of 102 to 105.
Apparently there is no snow court advantage for snow-savvy Celtics team members.
