Littleton Bull slaughtered after five days on the lam.
The Ayer Police Department has confirmed that the Littleton Bull was gunned down on Sunday by Ayer Police Department personnel while the bull was on the lam but at the same time grazing peacefully in the mostly rural countryside in and around Ayer Massachusetts.
Quincy Quarry’s media brethren at Boston Fox 25 have reported fast breaking badly further details this morning about the tragic end of the beloved gentle giant.
Apparently, the bull wandered into the backyard of the residence of a police officer and then during an ensuing police chase, the unarmed Littleton Bull was shot repeatedly as it was feared that he presented a traffic hazard as he hit the road in a fatal attempt to flee the scene.
Adding further insult to this tragedy, as the Littleton Bull was only grievously wounded by police, his unhappy owner was thus left with the thankless task of administering the coup de grâce.
Quncy Quarry has yet to be able to find out if Ayre police will be conducting an internal firearm discharge investigation to discern if this incident was a proper shoot or if someone was being a cowboy.
The Quarry was also unable to find out if anyone will be placed on paid administration leave pending a possible firearm discharge investigation.
What is all but certain at this point is that the Littleton Bull was not provided with a last cud.
That and as is only to be expected, one can expect considerable outrage expressed by the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) as they were calling for sanctuary for the wayward bull as well as also willing to pay for it.
More importantly, however, are the likely numerous and now emotionally scared children who were rooting for the bull to continue to run free and peacefully ruminate.

In the meanwhile, Quincy Quarry is following up on rumors that Chick-fil-A has set up a GoFundMe page as well as made a generous opening contribution so to cover the cost the final arrangements as well as offer assistance to the bull’s likely few surviving family members.
