Café Gelato comes to Quincy!

Not only are over twenty delicious in-house flavors of gelato available at Café Gelato, this new to the Q café also offers a tasty variety of items including breakfast treats, canolli, croissant and other sorts of gourmet sandwiches, salads, all manner of coffee beverages and heavenly  gelato-based milkshakes.

Be it a morning coffee to help bolster oneself for the daily grind, a taste treat anytime of the day, a light lunch or dinner or – of course – gelato, Café Gelato has it covered for all sorts of things Italian without having to have to schlep into Boston’s North End!

Speaking of Boston, Café Gelato’s co-owners have long operated the well-regarded financial district Italian lunch restaurant Casa Razdora.

And to graciously introduce itself to the Q, Café Gelato will be offering grand opening specials over the upcoming weekend. 

On Friday June 2 from 4 pm to 6 pm, enjoy a free scoop of gelato;  Saturday June 3 from 2 pm to 4 pm will feature $1 scoops of gelato; and, on Sunday from 2 pm to 4 pm, buy one of any size of gelato and receive one small size gelato for free!

As Quincy Mayor as well as clearly obvious gourmand Thomas P. Koch will be attending the official grand opening ribbon cutting photo op on Friday June 2 at 4 pm, be sure to arrive early so as to assure availability of free grand opening samples after the ribbon cutting ceremonies.

Café Gelato is planning to be open seven days a week, with the door opening up at 7 am weekdays and at 8 am on weekends as well as staying open until 10 pm everyday except on Sundays when it will be calling it a day at 9 pm.
