– News about Quincy from Quincy Quarry News

Quincy Center serial tree killings continue in and around Coddington Hall.

Although the perpetrator or perpetrators have yet to be formally identified, the cause of death is clear: a lack of water.

While water is clearly available as one can see from the lush mushroom crop growing in the overly-watered lawn in front of Quincy High School, many nearby somewhat recently planted and surely expensive trees continue to inexcusably be left high and dry to eventually die.

Granted, it has been a hot and dry summer, but regular watering is about all that it takes to keep vulnerable plantings alive.

Why this is not happening, however, is impossible to fathom.

Well, actually it is – but Quincy Quarry will leave it to its growing legions of loyal readers to figure out who is the obvious shortcoming.

That and expect Quincy Quarry to continue to cover the botanical carnage until it might perhaps cease, however unlikely.
