Quincy Quincy coverage gets results on trafficking mess in Quincy Center?
In the wake of a recent series of scathing Quincy Quarry exposés about the confusing and arguably dangerous new traffic signals along the Hancock Street Misalignment project, a large new temporary street sign was recently posted along Hancock Street in an attempt to help make sense of the confusing new traffic lights at the crosswalk in front of the Quincy Center MBTA station.
They did not help.
Not one whit.
Not only is the signage only adding further confusion and distraction to an already confusing as well as dangerous situation, what are the odds that passing drivers are going to look up from playing Pokémon Go to actually read this also confusing traffic sign?
Regardless, Quincy Quarry still must give credit to someone for apparently reacting to the Quarry’s recent scathing exposé about this still clearly dangerous trafficking mess in the long ongoing mess that is Quincy Center.
Additionally, Quincy Quarry even considered reaching out to city officials for comment about the apparent attempt to effect a positive reaction in response to negative coverage in the Quarry about the long ongoing trafficking mess in Quincy Center.
Fortunately for City Hall, however, no one in the newsroom was able to keep a straight face while the Quincy Quarry City Editor was imposing interview test checks upon those who had volunteered to reach out to City Hall for comment.
As such, the City Editor for a rare change took mercy on all involved and thus this once did not dispatch any Quincy Quarry personnel to (further, ed.) embarrass City Hall.
Plus, only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the hot noon midday sun that was today.
Regardless, do expect Quincy Quarry to stay on
Most confusing traffic lights and signage EVER!
No early warning on this bizarre light schematic…..
While driving and watching out for pedestrians and heroin addicts, motorists going thru a new construction maze are suppose to be able to read how to interpret Quincy’s idea of how to understand a new system of traffic lights?
Driving while reading the sign AND checking the lights – is this not the same as texting while driving?
And the Einstein Award for this absurdity goes to?
