Quincy car thief caught sleeping behind the wheel.

As reported earlier in the South Shore Broadsheet, a Quincy resident was busted this week for receiving a stolen vehicle.

Not addressed by the broadsheet, however, was why would anyone opt to steal a 2002 Hyundai  SUV?

Also not addressed was why its owner would go to the trouble and expense of equipping it with a Lo-Jack® tracking device which – if new when installed – surely would have cost more than the current Kelly Blue Book® value of ANY 2002 Hyundai.

At the same time, the broadsheet did duly note that the alleged receiver of a stolen vehicle was caught sleeping while behind the wheel at a location not all that far away from the residence of the vehicle’s owner.
