Quincy Center’s dangerously sideways streetlight is still leaning dangerously sideways.
This precariously leaning threat to public safety has commenced its fifth month of being a threat to public safety after it was apparently struck by a motor vehicle.
Quincy Quarry yet again considered reaching out to City of Quincy Department of Public Works Commissar Dan “Spanky” Raymondi for comment about this long ongoing public safety hazard, however, it saw no point to so suffering Spanky go on and on and on and on even more about the hardworking men and (some, ed.) women at the DPW when both the Quarry as well as ever increasingly more and more Quincy residents know better.

Even so, Quincy Quarry’s ever growing legions of loyal readers can expect the Quarry to continue to both monitor as well as report on this perilous threat to public safety in the long already otherwise unsafe Quincy Center until this particular threat might perhaps eventually actually be addressed.
In the meanwhile, one would be well-advised to avoid this dangerous situation at the intersection of Hancock Street and Hannon Parkway whenever possible.
