Quincy streetlight still sideways.
The expensive and ornate cast iron streetlight on Hannon Parkway just steps away from the parkway’s intersection with Hancock Street continues to be dangerously leaning sideways following its apparently being struck by a careless driver.
This safety hazard is about to enter its fourth month of being a hazard and there is no sign of any pending resolution of this clearly dangerous situation.
Quincy Quarry considered reaching out to City of Quincy Department of Public Works Commissar Dan “Spanky” Raymondi for comment, however, not even Quincy Quarry’s weekend City Editor Mark de Sade would subject the Quarry’s most junior student intern to suffer listening to Spanky go on and on and on and on even more about the hardworking men and (some, ed.) women at the DPW when both the Quarry as well as ever increasingly more Quincy residents know better.
