The Easter Bunny was beaten like a drum at Fort Drum.

In late breaking news perhaps care of a Pentagon media blackout, Quincy Quarry’s military media brethren at Duffle Blog report that a company commander at Fort Drum NY was beaten and mugged while dressed up as the Easter Bunny at an Easter egg hunt that he was hosting for his troops.

Reports suggest that beer was also featured at the event may have played a factor as well as help explain why the company’s all but universally well-regarded CO was attacked instead of the unit’s DI.

In any event, given previous coverage in Quincy Quarry, it would clearly appear that it has been a tough spring for fuzzy bunnies.
