Quincy MBTA Bus Stop buried by Mt Joke.
While the MBTA surely deserves at least some of the arrows and slings fired in its direction as its service levels leave much to be desired even by its usual standards of performance, clearing snow around its bust stops is a local municipality responsibility, at least it is in communities than in the Q.
Conversely, for all of its shortcomings, at least the MBTA bus services deserves some kudos.

For example, quickly rolling out three buses in the middle of the night when Father’s Bill’s shelter was hit with potentially fatal levels of carbon monoxide gas from a suspected to be faulty heating appliance.
Conversely, nearby Quincy High, which was made available for use as an emergency shelter during the Blizzard of 2015, was not so utilized when Father Bill’s residents were sent out into the cold of night to sit in idling buses.
Regardless of what breaks next in the way of MBTA-related news, expect Quincy Quarry to continue to aggressively cover any and all new developments that involve both the MBTA and snow-covered roadways in the Q.
