Quincy City Hall Temporary Parking Plan Implemented?
In the wake of massive decreases in readily available to the public public parking in and about Quincy Center, it would appear that per the accompanying Quincy Quarry Citizen Photojournalist photo that City Hall has apparently implemented its own unannounced parking loss mitigation plan.
Specifically, the secret plan would appear to entail developing “informal” parking within its VIP parking lot behind City Hall after it lost its parking spaces in the MBTA parking lot in front of the Quincy Center MBTA station given the impending demolition of the T’s long condemned and closed parking garage.

I like the concept of “informal parking.” It has a nice friendly ring to it.
In fact, the VIP area behind city hall isn’t the only place this idea has taken hold. Just take a spin through Quincy Center and you’ll find plenty of examples of “informal parking” as well as informal driving. And informal street-crossing by pedestrians.
As a matter of fact, taking all these informalities into consideration, Quincy Center is a veritable disaster area.
Charlie Foxtrot comes to mind. (again)
What about the informal spending of taxpayer $$$ by the city?
