Quincy Police Department Double and Triple Dipper sentenced to a year and a day in prison.

Unfortunately, the South Broadsheet did not correctly address how the Dipper is now looking to be whacked for millions in lost salary and future pension benefits.

Simply put, there is additional due process yet to be undertaken given his year and a day prison sentence given eleven federal felony convictions last June.

| quincy newsKey is that a year and a day prison sentence unarguably makes him a convicted felon over deeds done while working as a police officer.

In turn, such a felon conviction voids the Dipper’s municipal pension benefits due him above and beyond what was deducted from his paycheck to help but fractionally fund his pension – a sum equal to but a couple of years or so of pension benefits – as opposed to the many years, if not decades, in taxpayer-subsidized pension benefits that he could have received were he not a convicted as well as now also sentenced felon.

Granted, there is a bit more due process to process as well as that the Dipper could endeavor to appeal his convictions; however, one should remember that roadkill only gets flatter.

In the meanwhile, there have been no known official comments on the Dipper’s sentencing from Quincy Police Chief Paul “The Beav” Keenan nor any from the Beav’s surely but a coincidence brother-in-law Quincy Mayor Thomas P. Koch.
