As anticipated by Quincy Quarry, the City of Quincy’s Consiglieri conceded that Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey’s office has opened an investigation into apparent detail pay abuse by Quincy Police Lieutenant Thomas Corliss.

That the matter is under investigation by the Attorney General underscores the potential serious of the alleged abuse as well as that the matter is not going to die the usual death of a review by the powerless office of the State Inspector General.
