Quincy City Hall renovation cost overrun problems continue?

Shortly after Quincy Quarry covered a much less than impressive Koch sign trafficking standout in front of City Hall, a counter protest was then staged in front of City Hall.

Apparently, a subcontractor on the running late as well as almost twice the originally promised maximum cost for the City Hall renovation project continues to be unpaid.

Utterly avoidable fire and financial tragedy

As local residents may recall, this very same contractor exercised his inalienable right previously to protest of allegedly suffering at least slow payment for work done by his company on city projects.

Then again, perhaps the Koch Maladministration is finally opting to trim its penchant for excessive, if not also extravagant, spending by taking the unorthodox tactic of randomly opting to not pay city vendors.

After all, the alleged non-payment surely has nothing to do with the fact that the mayor has long had held a grudge as well as has allegedly at least indirectly previously acted against the owner of this local company for his having the temerity over the years to support the opposing candidate and as also is the contractor’s constitutional rights.

Quincy Quarry considered reaching out to Koch Maladministration figures, but then it realized that all of them were all but assuredly too busy scurrying about trying to raise funds for the obviously troubled Koch for Koch re-election campaign, most especially its looking to soon be overdrawn campaign fund bank account.

As such, expect the Quarry to ferret out the truth in its own inimitable fashion as regards this latest of all but innumerable financial crises involving City Hall during the Koch Maladministration.
