– News about Quincy MA from Quincy Quarry News.

Snow Daze Stress Disorder continues to linger just below an already edgy surface as well as dangerously so during a winter that is only just beginning to perhaps have a possible end in sight.

While whether – or not – Snow Daze Stress Disorder (“SDSD”) is added to the eventually expected DSM-VI as its own separate diagnostic category or if it is to remain as a subset of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (“PTSD”) remains to be seen, the public needs to learn the danger signs, especially as regards self-medicating.

After all, Quincy has enough trouble with Heroin Zombies, suspected Narcan price gouging and local politicians grifting a real estate favor to a local as well as arguable real estate grifter.

Fortunately for those impacted by Snow Daze Stress Disorder, local schools closing up for Snow Days appears to perhaps be over for this school year.

Unfortunately, however, so stressed parents currently do not have any idea what is planned by the local public schools to make up School Days as there is currently no plan yet for the local public schools to meet the state-mandated 180 days of classes in the wake of the Koch Maladministration repeatedly failing to both effectively as well as comprehensively clear snow after this winter’s snowstorms and thus classes had to be cancelled as well as often.

Adding to the already unprecedented levels, the pandering by local pols and hacks has reached new lows even lower than Quincy’s usual lowly standards for such nonsense.

Among other things, Mayor Koch is trying to deflect attention – and thus blame for – his Maladministration Q-ing up on not even merely but ineptly clearing up the snow this winter via his laughably transparent attempt to foist all of the blame onto Massachusetts Commissioner of the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Mitchell Chester for having the temerity to insist that the rules apply in Quincy.

Whether – or not – the mayor had a full-on temper tantrum or merely but a hissy fit in reaction to Commissioner Chester’s insisting on a “time-in” remains to be uncovered by Quincy Quarry.

In any and all events, Quincy Quarry readers can rest assured that Quincy Quarry will keep its loyal readers abreast of related events as events continue to break badly in the Q.
