On August 28th, National Red Wine Day ushers in the flavors of fall. As the grapes ripen, they signal time to shift to more robust vino, tailgates and spicy foods!

Today is only topped by June 14 as the favorite day of year in the adult libation loving Quincy Quarry Newsroom.

Fine wine or plunk, uncork a bottle or three of red, throw a steak or a thick portobello mushroom for our vegan friends on the grill, and so get a head start on the long Labor Day holiday weekend.
