State Police Association of Massachusetts (“SPAM”) picks a new president amid a federal probe into union’s campaign donations.

When it rains, it pours even more.

Former SPAM president Dana Pullman is said to have cited personal reasons for leaving his position.

Reports indict that the personal reasons included apparent incidents of the union reimbursing union members for making campaign donations.

Whatever the particulars fueling the reasons for Trooper Pullman’s resignation, Sergeant Mark S. Lynch has been appointed as the new president of SPAM.
